Psychological Counceling

Understanding your own stories –
developing new narratives

Throughout life, people make sense of their experiences by constructing multiple narratives. The stories that emerge from personal, relational, professional, academic, or life-changing challenges, such as migration, the loss of a loved one, illness, or political, social, or climate-related events, often take up significant space in a person’s life and tend to become rigid over time. In such moments, it becomes more difficult to access those other narratives rich in resources, skills, intentions, dreams, and hopes.

My approach is primarily based on narrative and cognitive-behavioral therapy. While narrative therapy helps open up new possibilities for meaning and strengthens preferred stories, CBT tools offer practical strategies to transform beliefs and habits that cause distress.

I work collaboratively with you to help you reconnect with your sense of agency, broaden your identity beyond the problem, and support both new ways of making meaning and concrete changes in your daily life.

Procedure & Costs

We begin with an initial session where we get to know each other and explore what you’re hoping for in therapy. Sessions last 50 minutes and take place in a protected environment. Depending on your needs, sessions can be arranged regularly or flexibly. As change is a process, we reflect on your progress together, adapt strategies, and strengthen your resources for long-term positive developments.

Unfortunately, psychological counseling is not covered by health insurance; therefore, costs must be covered privately.

Couple Therapy

New paths to intimacy, understanding, and connection

Couple relationships are dynamic processes, shaped by our personal experiences, unspoken expectations, social structures, and learned roles — including those related to gender.
At times, couples may face challenges in communication, especially when dealing with disagreements or conflicts around daily decisions, parenting styles, or the division of responsibilities. These difficulties often show up as misunderstandings, prolonged silences, or recurring arguments. Over time, this can lead to physical and/or emotional distance, making it harder to express needs without fear of judgment or conflict.

In this therapeutic process, we work together to reframe your shared stories, strengthen the relationship’s resources, and open up new possibilities for connection — all within a space of respect, curiosity, and non-judgment.

Procedure & Costs

Feel free to contact me via phone or email to briefly introduce yourself and outline what you’re looking for and what you hope to work on together.
If I am unable to respond immediately, I will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a suitable time. Sessions are held jointly as a couple and usually last 90 minutes.

Sex Therapy

Feeling, shaping, and enjoying sexuality autonomously

Women's experiences of sexuality have historically been shaped by social norms, cultural scripts, prohibitions, misinformation, prejudices, religious beliefs, and various forms of violence that have silenced desires, restricted expressions of pleasure, and hindered access to a fully autonomous sexuality.

This can lead to blockages in connecting with one's own body, in the ability to experience pleasure, and in the capacity to recognize and communicate one's desires and boundaries.

I accompany you in rebuilding a relationship of closeness and care towards your body, your desires, and your way of inhabiting intimacy, through an approach that integrates narrative and bodily dimensions.

The somatic approach allows exploring the imprints left on the body by cultural norms, religious beliefs, and experiences of violence, whether explicit or implicit, to resignify them within a space that is safe, respectful, and free of judgment.

Procedure & Costs

You're welcome to contact me by phone or email to briefly outline what you'd like support with. If I’m not available at the time, I’ll get back to you shortly to arrange an appointment.

Unfortunately, sexual therapy is not covered by health insurance, so the costs will need to be covered privately.

Stress Management & Burnout Prevention

Finding serenity, strengthening resources

Prolonged stress not only impacts the mind but also manifests itself physically: sleep disturbances, physical exhaustion, chronic tension, anxiety, and difficulty setting boundaries are common expressions of a progressive disconnection from our intentions, values, and our capacity to recover.

I invite you to explore the effects stress has on your life, along with the social expectations that fuel and encourage unlimited demands. To do so, we critically examine daily pressures and reflect upon the ways we internalize various roles in our lives—whether imposed and normalized or desired and chosen—so you  can orient yourself based on what truly matters to you.

Procedure & Costs

In stress management and burnout prevention, we jointly develop approaches tailored to your life situation. In an initial session, we take time for a thorough assessment: What stresses characterize your daily life? What physical and emotional signals are evident?
Based on this, we develop individually tailored strategies—aiming to strengthen your self-regulation, effectively cope with stress, and create more long-term stability and inner relief.

In many cases, employers cover the costs for stress management courses as part of occupational health promotion. Feel free to discuss this with your employer—I am happy to provide an invoice accordingly.

Individual session: 50 min / 90 CHF
Stress Management Package: 5 sessions / 380 CHF

Solidarity Pricing

Solidarity pricing is especially aimed at individuals with low income, such as students, single parents, those in transitional phases, or precarious employment. It's important to me that seeking support is accessible.

If psychological support is needed, but regular prices present a barrier, please contact me.

Online Sessions & Cancellation Policy

Sessions are possible both in my practice in Zurich and online via video—in German, English, or Spanish.

If you are unable to attend, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance—short-notice cancellations will be billed in full.
