My Story
Growing up across diverse cultural contexts — in Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, and Namibia — gave me deep insight into how social context, language, historical factors, and local traditions influence people's stories and daily lives.
My curiosity about the impact of sociopolitical contexts on society in general, and on individuals in particular, led me to study Political Science and Anthropology at Heidelberg University, focusing on social dynamics, cultural influences, power structures, and language.
I later deepened this knowledge with a double Master’s degree in International Management at the University of St. Gallen, where I focused particularly on the field of business ethics. As a woman, approaching human rights within the corporate world sparked a strong interest in incorporating a gender perspective into business environments, promoting a culture and practice of equity.
The complexity of human experience — seen through the lenses of ethics, human rights, and gender — led me to a pivotal shift: moving from a structural focus to a more personal one, from analyzing social systems to understanding their impact on personal stories and conflicts. This transition marked the beginning of my path into psychotherapy.
Today, my work as a psychotherapist is deeply shaped by these experiences.
My therapeutic work focuses on individual counseling, couples therapy, sex therapy, and relaxation techniques such as autogenic training and progressive muscle relaxation.
